National Mustard Day
Happy National Mustard Day!
Flavoring favorite foods across the globe, mustard, is made from the seeds of the mustard plant. Mustard itself is believed to be over 5000 years old, with some people thinking that it originated in India when it was first cultivated in 3000 BC.
Others, however, believe that it may have started in Ancient Egypt and then moved into Greece who then passed it on to the Romans. The Romans, in turn introduced it to Brian and Northern France. You can celebrate National Mustard Day by using it as a condiment, a part of a marinade, in a sauce, as part of a sauce or ingredient in a dish. The main thing is to share your mustard- loving experience with family and friends.
FYI: The man in the picture is my cousin Tim Campbell, who took a family recipe and turned it into a small business called The Mustard Man. (https://www.themustardman.net/).
Dad Jokes – Mustard Edition

A: Because he was a sub.
Q: Why did the mustard lose to Heinz and Hunt’s?
A: Because it couldn’t ketchup.
I thought I saw that mustard before but it was just Dijon-vu.
Waitress: Sir, would you like mustard or ketchup on your hotdog?
Customer: Neither, I just want to relish it.

That’s must-up.

MS Windows User Tip – Stop Explorer Sorting By Date
If notice that Microsoft Windows File Explorer has begun grouping your
files by day, week and month instead of by file name, here’s how to turn
off that file grouping “feature”:
- Open a folder that is grouping and/or sorting by week and month.
- Right-click in the folder to open a list of options.
- Select Group by to open a list of grouping options.
- Select (None) from the list.
Personally, I have found what works best for me is to leave the grouping by date to be useful for my Downloads folder and having no ‘Group by’ for the rest of my folders.
Leadership 101 – How to Build an MVP
By AJ Silver
What is an MVP (Minimum Viable Product)?
A minimum viable product (MVP) is a product (or service) that includes only the essential features needed for success in the marketplace.
A Minimum Viable Product should:
– Be something that meets your customers’ needs
– Have only essential features, no frills
– Enable customers to quickly understand the product and its value proposition so that it can generate early traction
– Avoid adding unnecessary complexity by keeping the number of features limited.
An MVP is like a rough draft, not the final masterpiece. It’s there to test ideas and get feedback from target customers. Once you have that feedback, you can fine-tune and add new features until you’re closer to your desired outcome. Picture it like making a statue out of marble. It’s not perfect at first, but when
you chip away at the things you don’t need and refine what is left, you are one step closer to creating a masterpiece.
MVP Benefits
Crafting an MVP is a genius move to collect customer feedback and gauge the product’s potential. And hey, there’s a whole bunch of other perks! Let’s dive into a few of my personal favorites!
Get to Market Cheaply
Launching a minimum viable product quickly gives you a leg up over your competitors. It puts you in the driver’s seat and allows you to move faster than anyone else by skipping certain development processes. This shortens the time it takes customers to get their hands on your product and gives them access to what they want sooner! The earlier you get your product in front of customers, the quicker you can turn them into brand advocates and build a loyal customer base.
Test Your Hypothesis
The MVP process is a great way to validate your hypothesis and test the potential of your idea. It allows you to:
– Identify areas for improvement
– Uncover customer needs and wants
– Gain insight into pricing strategies
– Come up with strategies to position your product effectively for target users
By testing ideas on a smaller scale, you can also save yourself from the headache of launching a full-blown product that does not resonate with your target audience.
Learn from Your Target Audience
An MVP allows you to get an understanding of the needs and wants of your target audience. It’s like a low-cost focus group test.
