The purpose of a newsletter is an opportunity for the ASWi team to provide you and the rest of our clients with information on all the new ASWi and Acumatica related things (or “happenings”) that you may not otherwise be aware of.

We often make the mistake of letting our dreams remain just that: dreams. Dreams we have at night but then neglect in the morning. Dreams we hardly dare speak of in case they don’t come true. Little bits of fantasy doomed to remain that way. But they don’t have to be.

There are also thousands of dreams that are not early as impossible as we think them to be, and could, in fact, be fulfilled with a little planning and work, and sometimes just the courage to do something different than you have in the past.

There are lots of ways you can go about making one of your dreams come true, but the first step is to have a general plan. Then, work your plan until you realize it!

FYI re: the picture: One of my dreams that came true was having the opportunity to live in Sydney, Australia across the street from this park at the foot of the Harbour Bridge.

I had a crazy dream last night that I was a muffler. I woke up exhausted!

That’s nothing, last night I had a dream that I was swimming in a pool of orange soda. Luckily, it was just a Fanta-sea.

Q: What kind of dreams did Conrad Hilton have?
A: Suite dreams.

Dad: Wake up! You were having a bad dream about the Lord of the Rings!
Son: How did you know?
Dad: You were Tolkien in your sleep.

Sweet dreams are made of cheese. Who am I do diss a brie? I cheddar the world and the feta cheese. Everybody’s lookin’ for Stilton. I thought I dreamt a color I had never saw before but it was just a pigment of my imagination

ASWi will be making our 3rd annual appearance at the NSSF SHOT SHOW, which is Las Vegas January 23 – 26, 2024.

For the 2nd annual time, we will be in the SHOT Week Supplier Showcase, manning Booth #51510 from January 22nd through January 23rd.

We will also be co-sponsoring a Happy Hour event on January 25th at the Sugarcane Raw Bar & Grill.

The SHOT Show, which is an acronym for “Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show”, is an annual trade show for the shooting sports, hunting, outdoor recreation, and firearm manufacturing industries. The show is sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and is the biggest event of its type in the world.

TRAILD AP Automation has a full end to end integration with the Acumatica projects module. Happy New Year!

Overwhelmed by all your “to-do” goals? If so, then take a tip from Brian Tracy and do this:

1. Think about what’s most important to you in the different areas of your life and write down ten things.
2. From that list, make a list of your top ten goals for the year.
3. Prioritize that list so that the most important goal is number one.
4. Throw away the other nine goals and make a commitment to making that number one goal a reality in the next twelve months. Once you’ve made that commitment, ask yourself “What one action can I take today, right now, to begin reaching that goal?” When I heard this, my first thought was, “Yeah, but what about the other nine goals?”

He explained that despite our best intentions, most goal setting starts strong but by March it slows down and by the summer most – if not all – of our goals will be abandoned.

That’s why identifying one goal, the most important and most impactful goal, is a better way to go. Think about how much your life will change (and the lives of your family members) if you reach this number one, most important goal.

If your goal is to become a leader in your industry and double or triple your income, think about the impact that will have on your family. Think about buying that new home, or providing for your parents, or allowing your wife or spouse to stay home.

If your goal is to finally write that novel, think about how your life will change when you finally accomplish that this year! Think about the weight off your shoulders now that it is a reality rather than just another dream.
