The purpose of a newsletter is an opportunity for the ASWi team to provide you and the rest of our clients with information on all the new ASWi and Acumatica related things (or “happenings”) that you may not otherwise be aware of.

Happy World Egg Day!

One of the oldest foods known to man, eggs have played an important role in our lives and health. These little goodies are packed full of protein, and also serve as the base for some of the most wonderful foods dishes and sauces.

World Egg Day celebrates these delightful little packages of deliciousness and the incredibly important role they play in the day -to-day lives of humans all over the planet. You can celebrate World Egg Day this evening with a delicious egg dish, by learning some fun facts about eggs, and/or you can groan to the Dad Jokes about eggs below.

Dad Jokes | Eggs Edition

Q: Who tells the best egg jokes?
A: Comedy-hens.

Q: How do monsters like their eggs prepared?
A: Terra-fried

Q: Did you hear about the newly born baby chick who became a celebrity?
A: His old friends called him a shell-out and an eggomaniac.

Acumatica Cloud CSAT Survey | October 23 – 30

For our “veteran” Acumatica Cloud ERP subscribers, you may remember that Acumatica send out Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) surveys twice per year.

These surveys help them:
• Gather valuable insights into the needs and expectations of our shared customers
• Identify areas where they have opportunities to improve
• Measure Acumatica Cloud ERP subscribers’ overall satisfaction with Acumatica and their ERP
• Identify trends and track them over time
• Measure Acumatica Cloud ERP subscribers overall satisfaction with their Acumatica partner (i.e., ASWi).

On Monday, October 23rd, the primary point of contact of all Acumatica subscribers who are “live” with Acumatica Cloud ERP will be receiving an email linked to an online customer satisfaction survey. The survey will be available to be completed through Monday, October 30th at 11:00 pm Central Time.

You opinion matters greatly to ASWi and to Acumatica. If there is any reason that your company’s Acumatica point of contact does not feel like ASWi has earned a 100% CSAT score, please Keith Wood, our Customer Success Manager, know by reaching out to him at keithw@aswius.com or (717) 581-1226 and we will do what we can to address his/her concerns.

Acumatica Summit 2024 is on the horizon, and registration is now open.

Join the ASWi team, your fellow Acumatica subscribers and the Acumatica team Sunday January 28 through Wednesday, January 31, 2024 for the Event of the Year!

Sales 101 | Better Demos

Demos Are Killing The Buying Experience

You’re probably tired of going to a website to review some new piece of tech only to find:

• A lame, generic video overview of what the product does using silly actors, stock photos, and a few stock animations. Value? Zero. Irritation? 10.
• You have to enter your name, email, company, number of employees, etc. so that you can ‘schedule a demo’.
• Or, an irritating pop-up chatbot who keeps asking you, “May I help you?” And when you eventually type, “Yes, where can I see a quick demo.” The response? Go back to #2.

Now imagine going through this or EVERY website during your ‘investigation’ phase of the buying cycle!

Further, imagine a (dystopian) future where you’ll receive drip campaign emails from every single one of these websites.

What is the Point of Gatekeeping Your Demo?
Why do companies gate keep their demos behind a ‘schedule a demo’ pop-up form?
• So competitors can’t see it?
• It’s so unique and special that it causes uncontrollable euphoria?
• So you have to give up your email?
• Techno-sadism is real?

You’ll Lose the Lead Before You Can Nurture It
As an old-school marketer, you might be thinking, “So we can get their email and nurture the lead.”

Fair enough…but, how many people just click off to another competitor who makes it easy for them to see a demo?

If you’re one of the companies or people who do this, consider creating a compelling ‘overview demo’ that would inspire prospects to want to see more and give you their email. Earn it!

Stop putting up barriers to explore. Making buyers give you their email just to see what’s behind the ‘tech curtain’ creates more friction during the buying journey.

And these buyers do not want to be part of your annoying email ‘drip’ campaign. Buyers today are well informed. If they are interested in a demo, they already want to buy and are likely weighing their options.

What To Do Instead
• Everyone buys for their own reason. Track the customer journey and understand their ‘single-issue’ motivation.
• Your company developed a product to solve or address multiple problems in the market. So, then develop multiple introductory demos that address each of the main reasons (or motivations) a prospect has that your product solves.
• Make your demos SIC; short, insightful, and compelling. How will you know if you have a SIC demo? By the number of full-demo requests you’ll receive! Plus, you’ve invested thousands if not millions into your product, so why not invest in a series of SIC problem-addressing demos?
